Question:
Are we in control of our destiny or is it written.?

I'm going to go a little scientific here.

Imagine a time when there was no human thought, just rocks forming the solar system.

Every rock follows the laws of physics, if bumps in to another rock you should be able to calculate, if you had a powerful enough computer where that rock and the one it bumped in to would end up going and the velocity it would be traveling at.

When I throw a ball to someone as it leaves my hands. the person catching it can predict where it will land, and place their hands in that location and catch it. They can only do this because the trajectory of the ball is predetermined by the laws of physics, which are the laws of the universe. if the laws of the universe did not exist the ball could suddenly change direction, but we know this never happens and no one has ever seen it happen.

The ball is made of atoms which all matter is made of so, once you make matter move it will continue to move until forced such as gravity or your hands which catch it change it motion.

We are made of matter, our brains are also made of matter and all this matter follows the laws of physics, if I was to zoom in on my hand and see the atoms bouncing around, bumping in to each other , they all must follow the laws of physics, I have no control over this process. so it I move my hand the atoms need to bump together and energy needs to be released for this process to happen, a process which I have no control over in the quantum world, but in the macro world I think I do

According to the newtonian mechanics yes we can say that motion of every single atom can be calculated. If we have such a powerful super computer in future then it is possible that we can see future. But think it at once if everything were to be fixed then what is life?? Is it meaningless ?? Are we all just a bag of atoms and molecules hanging around here??

Scientists say that human brain is the most complicated thing in the universe. It may be possible that we decide our future ourselves. Or maybe our destiny is already written.

We maybe just a part of something big. Doesn't matter how much we develop there will be something left to know , something left to discover.

And here comes the concept of that supernatural power and that's why we bow in front of it.

I believe your argument is based in classical physics. You should study quantum physics to better understand why your theory doesn't hold up. I would start with the double slit experiment if you want to get weird.

We have no way to prove or disprove Free Will.

HOWEVER: The law assumes that unless your attorney can convince a jury you are insane, you are responsible for your actions. (Choose wisely, Grasshopper.)

its difficult to tell if you are trying to learn - or you are teaching

we ask questions to learn - not to teach

if you believe that you have no control over your destiny - then you don't

if you believe that you do have control - then you do

It matters not how strait the gate,

How charged with punishments the scroll,

I am the master of my fate:

I am the captain of my soul.

In my house there is a cry often "Why me God?" God says "Because I've chosen you". That is unfair but God does not work the way we want Him to.

Do what you want. This isn't aimed at you, but I don't know why so many people have to know what their destiny will be and what their purpose is. Just freakin live and there will be tons of destiny's to choose from. I have heard many times that peoples lives end up bad such as divorce, drug addiction or even poverty because they didn't follow the correct destiny. I can't believe its not obvious enough to just live for most.

From Religion :

You can read Predestination (John Calvin).

From Philosophy :

Since you mention quantum mechanics, you may hear about

Uncertainty Principle which is similar with British philosopher

George Berkley's famous quote " To be is to be perceived ".
