This is a science project, in which an egg is put inside a contraption and then thrown off a heigth of 25' to test the durabililty of the contraption. The following rules apply: Students have $140,000 to buy computer paper, tape, and drinking straws, and one paper clip. Each paper costs $40,000, each straw costs $2,000, and tape is $1,000 per 5". This contraption can have a parachute made from these materials as well. The contraption needs to be built first and then the egg inserted, not the materials being built around the egg. Teacher needs to be able to take the egg out of its contraption. The design needs to keep the egg from breaking upon impact.

Build a platform of straws with the egg suspended over it, and then make a parachute.

My friends class took about 6-7 sheets of paper. They stacked them, then they taped them together. leave a little space in the middle about an inch thick ( that way the egg can fit. Next they taped straws with paper on top for a pearchute. then they put about 6-7 layers of ppe on under it and taped it. Make sure that you can fit your hand in so yu can put the egg in. try this a couple times before you actually do the real thing. I hope this helps I'm not sure where you can put the paper clip sorry.

I agree, you need to not ask others to do your homework, yet inquiring for help is particularly suitable. I won't supply top solutions, yet an thought won't harm. perhaps hit upon a thank you to make a hammock form of out of straws area via area and tape it on the ends?
