Why did Isaac Newton create his 3 laws of motion? I don't want to know about his gravitational laws, or calculus, or optics. I just want to know why he created the laws of motion.

Newton was an analytical dude who tried to reduce things into their most basic parts and this is what he came up with when he needed to describe the physics of motion.

Sir Isaac Newton did not create laws of motion - the laws of motion were created by nature, Isaac Newton was just the first person to study the motion and begin to understand the behavior of objects in motion. He published his findings of his many experiments and after tests and tests, the laws have been found to hold true in all situations, therefore becoming accepted as a law of nature.

The ice skater flings the backpack against the different wall. Newton's third regulation of action states that for each action, there is an equivalent and opposite reaction. she would have the ability to slide in direction of the different wall, the frictionless ice no longer slowing her down in any respect.

he didn't create them so much as he discovered them. They apply to every object a bit bigger than atoms and not traveling a substantial fraction of the speed of light. So they're really handy when you need to do things like build a bridge or an airplane. Hope that helps.
