The power of the electrical powered field is measured utilising a quantity pronounced as the electrical powered field intensity. The greater effective the electrical powered field intensity the greater suitable the sphere. the electrical powered field intensity (EE) is defined as: the electrical powered field intensity is the strain on a unit advantageous value placed at that element interior the sphere. In a uniform field the electrical powered field intensity is continuous (an analogous at any element interior the sphere) on an analogous time as in a radial field the electrical powered field intensity decreases because of the fact the gap from the crucial value will advance. consequently for a radial field the electrical powered field intensity distance d from a favorable value of length Q coulombs is: Radial field: EE = (a million/4??o)Q/d2 For a uniform field between 2 parallel plates separated by utilising a distance d and with a skill distinction V between them the sphere is: Uniform field: EE = V/d the gadgets for electric field intensity are Newtons in line with coulomb (NC-a million).

idk but ima give it a shot. :)
i think that since the top bar is positive, then the electron will be tempted to go upward. so i think the force of gravity should equal the upward magnetic force (if that made any sense).
so the force of gravity = mg
and the electromagnetic force = Eq (E = magnetic field strength and q = charge of electron)
since the upward and downward force will be the same, then the electron will only go straight through. thats what im guessing. :\

Force due to magnetic field, B = Bev = eE = eV/d or
Bv = V/d or
B = V/(vd) = 200/{6.0*10^6*0.01} T = 0.0033 T or 3.3*10^-3 T
