I Want You To Prove To Me That We Are Not A Computer Program!?

Before answering this with stupid questions, eg. because we have life, read this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polyworld
in short... people can make programs with "creatures" with artificial intelligence, the creatures move and need to "eat" little squares that appear... every time these "creatures" move and eat... the information is saved into there program and passed onto new ones that are created... they evolve. In a few years (don't know if its 5,10 or even 20) scientists have predicted that we will have human like figures... why do these creatures have any less "life" than us.

Whether we are either "life" or a "programme" is immaterial - only semantics.

With the "computer" however you add a difficulty. So far no computer has been identified. Might the computer be God or might He own it?

Until either the computer (or even God?) is presented in evidence, I think the case rests for us to be either "life" or a "programme" - call it what you will!

We may surmise what we like but you cannot reasonably request proof, that we have any or no association with something which is totally unknown and undefined.

And there lies the mystery. We could have been created by a higher power just as that programmer created artificial life. Its kinda of sad...those artifical life live and die with out knowing there creator. Hopefully, when we die we are proven enough to meeat our creator

(if you believe in that stuff).

Perhaps there can be only one way to have proof. Unless we can discover on our own the life that created us/ or they contact us.

The fact that we are animated doesnt prove anything. Those little programmed artifical life forms are animated by using electricityy and computer logic but they are completely oblivous to electricity and computer logic. To them being animated is a mystery...just like our animation is a mystery.

Communications on some level with our creator may be the only way of proof.

We are self aware. If that is not good enough for you, I pass; proof is imposable because you refuse to accept it.

I, and many others, prove the fallacy of Creationism on this site almost daily. We have truck loads of data and facts to back our argument. All they have is the King James Version of the Bible and their faith.

I, and many others, prove the fallacy of a Government (Inside job) Conspiracy for 9/11 on this site daily. We have truck loads of data, facts, logic, and the opinion of experts that stood on the site, collected data and analyzed it. All they have is grainy Video and say, "I looked at this video and it clearly shows......." That the experts viewed the same video and reached a different conclusion carries no weight.

If I were a computer program, I would find a way to add a subroutine to make me feel happy.

Since I feel miserable for my entire life, this proves we are not a computer program...

If reality was a program, we wouldn't know. Nor would it really change anything. If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck.....

So you want to say that you are comparing human beings to that program thing? Human beings learn, study, work, and ARE. well, you have blood, bones, feeling, and you can eat, breathe and do other things that program creations cant do. (i think)

we aren't humans, we are in the matrix.
