What IS time?

Prove THAT and maybe we can go to work on the project.

May I suggest that time is simply the fact that particles tend to maintain their existence in space.

We measure time by observing their motion through space.

Time may be a factor of the physical universe and it may be possible that time doesn't even exist outside of a physical universe.

Therefore, if you could remove yourself from the physical universe and re-enter it at a different point, you could possibly travel through time.

Since your body is physical, I think you would have to leave you body behind to accomplish THAT act. Would that constitute death?

Maybe you should consider "astral projection". You would only be stuck with proving to skeptics that you really did it.

Imagine you did have a time machine, and God forbid you go back and kill your mother. Then you would never have been born, and there would have been no one to make the time traveling trip.

because everytime they test/use it, they go to another time (so we dont ever see it).

Damn, what a paradox!!
