Duplicate question.

Relativity applies to lots of things in normal life You are bombarded by solar muons, which should not survive to this depth in our atmosphere... but do as described by relativity. The chemistry of heavier elements, where electron "orbital speeds" is approaching c, is described in small part by relativity.

Any theory can potentially be disproved. Relativity is shown to make bad predictions in the quantum realm, so it is not used there.

Got a GPS? Relativity is considered when tuning your handheld to the multiple transmitters in the GPS satellites. If it were not folded into the frequency assignments, you'd never receive the GPS signals.

Why?

Because, due to the speeds of the satellites, we receive the frequencies as f = 1/dT when the transmitters are actually transmitting at F = 1/dt Hertz. F > f because of relativity, an effect called time dilation. My point is this, in your regular life, if your GPS were tuned to F instead of the relativistically adjusted f, you'd be lost...literally.

GPS devices rely upon general and special relativity for their accurate timekeeping of the distance measuring signals.

No, no one has yet to disprove relativity.

Sitting with ur gf, time passes by faster.

Doing a boring task, time passes by slowly.
