our DT teacher told us that we have to get the sweets from inside the cylinder.

It is just a cylinder on a peice of paper Only 1 hole is showing and i cant put my hand in it. A circle is drawn around the paper so you cant move the cylinder. What is the most creative way to get the sweets out?????

I only have 2 ideas and all of my friends have loads. Get tweezers and get the sweets that way or make a hoover with a straw and suck in the sweets?

Any ideas?

So a cylinder placed on top of a piece of paper with a circle drawn around the cylinder on the paper and a rule that says the cylinder must always stay inside the circle? How about folding the paper around the side of the cylinder, circle still firmly connected to the bottom of it, and flipping it over? :P

Does "most creative" include sci-fi type ideas? For instance, you could bolt the table and cylinder down to the Earth and then change the gravity locally so the sweets come out of the hole on their own. Or you could move them through the fourth dimension and thus just move them right through the cylinder. A genetically engineered ant species that would go in and grab the sweets for you. I'm sure there are some pretty creative real world solutions too, but "most creative" is very broad.

Cover a glass or plastic rod in a bonding agent (Super glue would work best) push it into the hole as far as it goes wait a few seconds and pull it out, you should pull out at least 10 sweets or more on your first try. Turning it upside down seems to be a popular answer, but make sure you pick up the paper with the cylinder.

Good Luck!
