radians covered in i sec. = 3.5*2*pi

= 21.98

time taken to cover 55 radians = 55/21.98

= 2.5

The wheel rotates 3.5 times a second means it rotates through an angle of 21.994 radian i.e. 22 radian per second so to rotate through an angle of 55 radian it will take 55/22=2.5 seconds.

A wheel rotates 3.5 times in one second

=> Angular velocity of the wheel = w = 3.5 revolutions / second

= (3.5)*2π rad/s = 7π rad/s.= 22 rad/s (taking π = 22/7)

Angle through which the wheel has rotated = Θ = 55 rad

Time taken to rotate through angle Θ = t

Now, Θ = wt

=> t = Θ / w = 55/22 s = 5/2 s = 2.5 s.

3.5 revolutions/s

55 radians = 55/2π revolutions = 8.7535 revolutions

8.7535/3.5 = t = 2.50 s ANS
