If you had 2 really strong spherical magnets orbiting a common centre or mass in space, in a perfect vacuum, and if you were to enclose that circular orbital path with coils, could the 2 magnets indefinitely orbit each other and continuously generate an electrical current through the coil?

NO!

Be realistic. As energy is removed the magnets would lose orbital speed and come towards each other.

Eventually coming together at the middle and finally coming to a stop.

This is the most basic of tenets of physics.

This actually comes down to an issue of size vs saturation and possibly torsional effects.

First the issue of size dictates that for a planetary example it immediately should become apparent that if iron is used to create the magnetic field, as in the earths magnetic field, saturation may come into the picture. While certain principles of construction using ratios as a guide are valid; in magnetic circuits this may not be true. In fact when this so called special spherical magnet is made; from my understanding the material to be used will dictate how far out in space its magnetic field will stretch out for interaction with other sources as automatically occurs with gravitation.. By having "really strong" magnetic fields on the spherical magnets like neodymium, this is self defeating approach for the distance of interaction comparisons. A much larger ferrite magnet sphere could be constructed whereby its most efficient size also is dictated by that materials saturation point, and then the spheres magnetic field might connect far enough away to make a comparison with gravitational forces. In fact we may not be able to just "scale up" ratio wise any magnetic design to planetary portions of spherical area. But here the SUPERB ACTIONS of air core MAGNETIC FIELDS ENCOMPASSED UP TO planetary adaptations are perfectly possible, for the simple fact that they do not saturate in their ability to broadcast a magnetic field over distance. This is truly a preponderous "teslafarian" concept here by the following thoughts... What if each planets mass was simple insulated spool of wire? Now we dont have to worry about magnetic ratio losses in scaling things up to a huge size, and theoretically it is perfectly possible to find the "sizing" margin point whereby magnetic forces could equally act to gravitational forces on a larger scale of demonstration. As the case in point here in this consideration; if each planets wiring end connections were left open circuit; and then given a gravitational orbit around each other according to their masses; at this point we might simply put generators on each planets open spool wire connections and add an additional magnetic force to either repel or further attract the orbits together. If we expanded the orbit, and then let it collapse, the gravitational energy could be converted to electrical. As for the toroid surrounding the circulation of these electrical masses in rotation, if lenz law applied it would diminish the rotation we suppose. Such a drawback might be cancelled by the option to also input electrical energy from the toroid back into the planetaries rotation. Such a feedback mechanism has been shown by feedbacking rotational magnetism existant on a rotating alternator without an energized field from the stator outputs back across a feedback loop of rectification back to field; showing overload as an uncontrolled magnetic feedback loop.

The magnets would wither attract or repel, so they wouldn't keep an orbit.

the translation of the hebrew observe chuwg speaks of circumference and describes a good sphere. right that is yet another verse. interest 26:10 He has inscribed a circle on the floor of the waters on the boundary of sunshine and darkness. how can God shape a flat circle on the floor of water? the earth replace into void interior the beginning up and the Spirit of God hovered over the waters. the Bible has declared the earth is around.
