Question:
Do you think parallel universes exist?

Just watched the movie Coherence, and I've been wondering if anything like that is possible.
Things like miltiple realities existing until an act is acted upon. And then the results branch out into different realities. It's so crazy to think about!
I've read articles about it too. I did research on meta physics, quantum physics, the string theory, Shrodinger's cat, etc.
So what do you think?

No way. Ma Nature is lazy by...nature. So she would not duplicate systems when one will do.

But that's not the "multiverse" model. That's the many worlds model that would have duplicates of one world, one universe.

The multiverse is in fact likely. There are 10^500 possible universes according to the values of the natural constants. [See source.] And each is different from the others. So these are not...not...duplicates, they are unique.

Old Prof is right BUT if time travel were indeed possible it WOULD theoretically be possible to create a divergence point and thus a new "universe" the original time line would exist but a new one would be formed. Thus a multiverse . But time travel is not proven so Old prof is right.
