I'm doing a research about Perpetual Motion for my Physics coursework. I've only got a week now to do it and I don't know where to begin. I wanna prove that Perpetual Motion DOESN'T EXIST and try to explain it through the Laws of Thermodynamics but I don't know what to put and to what degree of detail do I need to talk about. (if u know what I mean) So could you help me how to start doing it? thanks!

The three laws of thermo, restated somewhat:

1) You can't win.

2) You can't break even.

3) You can't quit the game.

All perpetual motion machines rely on breaking at least one of these (for instance, they almost always ignore little details like friction).

i think of you're puzzled as to what the critics rather mean while they say perpetual action. i will plug a motor right into a wall socket and, given no placed on and tear, the motor will run perpetually. What a perpetual action gadget skill is that no exterior power is presented into the gadget, or if there is, there's a internet output of power from the gadget that equals the enter. Even those nifty little floaty magnetic tops that flow ultimately quit turning because of the fact of friction from the air. you ought to in step with threat placed the magnetic incredible in a vacuum, yet even in an commercial "vacuum" there are nonetheless adequate molecules of gas to work together with and at last quit the device. And via the way, those critics for whom no staute has ever been geared up? considered one of them grow to be Einstein. There are some statues of him, rather.

Perpetual Motion Machine

Perpetual Motion Machine exists in space where there is no gravity. On Earth it is very difficult to make a perpetual motion machine because of gravity and gravity induced friction. We can overcome gravity if we can overcome bouoncy. The most closest thing to a perpetual motion machine is wind farms where electricity is generated by using the power of the wind.

We know that earth is revolving around its axis and there are temperature differences along different latitudes and longitudes. So we can assume that wind will be always present. If we equalise the force of friction by bouoncy of air we can have a very efficient wind propellor. Basically have blades having a big volume made of extremely light rigid material which is possible thanks to nanotechnology and fill the inside of the blade with vacuum such that the force of friction is equalised by the force of bouoncy.

We can then have a very efficient wind propellor.

look at super conductors, for the idea to work you need 100% efficiency, which is not possible, other wise you could have an electric motor driving a generator that was powering the motor, because of the inefficiency it cant work, there have been some devices made which will run for many years but eventually they will stop.

Wind turbines are not efficient at all............

well all you can realy start off with is like saying somthing along the lines of "in a perfect world perpetual motion would work but in our world of wast enrgy and so forth prevent us from conjouring this up .............."

thats what i would do and then decride why

There is no such thing as a free lunch.

Perpetual Motion machines are the product of the minds of the stupid or the criminal.

Sorry this may not be a lot of help but it does give you the basics of thermodynamics which is your starting point.

good luck - but it does exist, i know i have seen it work - i'm in the army now....
